INFORMATION
On October 8, 2011 George Baker sent an announcement that the USS HUGH PURVIS - DD709 has been designated a "Brown Water" ship from the Viet Nam era. Thanks to George, and those that wrote their congressmen, for all your work. Hopefully this will help those affected by what happened in Viet Nam now get the medical treatment and help they deserve. When it is available, the actual notice will appear here.
With that very important job accomplished, this page will now concentrate on many Veterans information and announcements.
